Fredrick Meijer Gardens, March 12th

The mist sprayed above my head

I watched raindrops form on leaves ahead

A crowded room all here to see one thing

That only comes around every spring

A sweet aroma of the healthiest flowers all in a room I could stand in for hours

Cocoons of all sorts scattered all throughout, they’d be hatching anytime now without a doubt

A colorful array of flowers and leaves

Intertwined above my head and beneath my feet

Butterflies swarmed all around the room

Dancing to and fro on the flowers abloom

Bright blues and big wings

Red, orange, and yellow little things
